STALKING THE WILD AUTOHARP: Master Index

"Stalking the Wild Autoharp" is my YouTube Tutorial Series for the Autoharp.  I post new lessons every couple weeks.   Recently I've been asked to provide some sort of master list, placing it all in order.  I couldn't come up with an ABC sequence, but I found that I could rank them. Each title will link you to the corresponding video on Youtube. (I tried to embed them, but they wouldn't display correctly here, without completely rebuilding my website!)  Also, be aware that if you start into a video and there is another technique that you should master first, then I'll reference that in the video itself.

Remember also that I teach Private Lessons ONLINE, at about half the cost of lessons elsewhere...why leave your living room?  Yes it REALLY works as my many students will attest!   Learn More!

THEORY FOR AUTOHARPISTS (Intermediate)

In "Theory for Autoharpists" series, I try to only cover what you need to know with the standard autoharp instrument.   I don't get into special chord forms like you'd have on the Prizim, or color chords that you'd have around the perimeters of your diatonic.  Any music theory curriculum would be much more exhaustive than this one...but this is JUST for autoharpists, who don't need to know about voice leading, species counterpoint, 9th chords, sus4 chords, etc etc.   In my Prizim series, as I discuss each kind of special chord, I'll go into how it is constructed...but not here.

 Part 1--steps and half steps

Part 2 --intervals, major and minor chords

Part 3 --scale degree chords and numbers

Part 4 -- the circle of 5ths

Part 5 -- 7th chords
